I was very impressed with the French dip. The bread was light and the meat was simple and well flavoured. Our waitress was friendly, but not overly talkative. I only wish that the fries had not been crinkle cut.

Great restuarant with friendly staff and a great menu. The pizza is amazing. Their weekend buffet of ribs, chicken and fish is great. Eat here all of the time. I highly recommend

It was disgusting. My family went there tonight and I ordered wings and the first time they came out they were cold on the bone and soggy and then the second time they came out they were just on the verge of being cold too. My husband had the double bypass burger and the "hamburgers" were just mushed together and didn't even look like hamburger, and his fries weren't even cooked all the way through, the potato was still crunchy inside. My son's fries were the same way so he got to eat a whole 2 chicken tenders for his meal. It was just disappointing to pay that much money for a meal that you could barely eat.

There was 4 of us all of our food was cold burgers were not fully cooked still cold in the center fries were also cold order cheese curds and got them with our meal COLD overall I'll never go back. We were not the only table experiencing the same exact issues. Plus we were like the second table to be waited on and about 4 more tables filled up after and all 4 of the tables food came out at once cold some hot.

Service was the slowest I've ever seen. I work on the road 50 weeks a year and it was bad, not just mine but people around me ask about there food several time. After the bar cleared out I played some music and the cancelled it all out. I will never go back to that dump again

Had my birthday dinner at Doc's. We all had the buffet. Everyone (10 of us) was happy with the food and service.

Nice place to grab a burger or sandwich. My grandparents devoured their prime rib sandwiches which were pretty large! Their salad bar is awesome! Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there was no changing table in the restroom; a must in my opinion.

Food is good. They have the old style salad bar with soup very cool.

The good here is really good. And we love that they allow us to have our dog on the back patio with us. They will even bring out a bowl of water for our little pooch ;-)

I've been here several times, this time it was disgusting. We went there for the chicken, fish, and ribs buffet w/salad bar. Upon walking up to the hot foods, an INFESTATION of flies was crawling on the food and swarming all around. When brought up to the waitress she went into the kitchen to grab the Squirt gun. She claimed they use it instead of a fly swatter. Then I hear her giggle about squirtting into the mashed potatoes. Yuck! We were seated near the salad bar and I could see several more flies crawling in and out of the salad items. When I told the waitress I wasn't going to eat because of the flies...she rudely said, "well, I can bring you all the regulations on flies and if you can come up with a better way to get rid of them...I'd listen" I will be contacting the owners.

One of a couple small bars in Balsam Lake. We went at 4:30. 3 people at bar and 1 table of 1 person. We sat down and were greeted by the bat tender. She got our drinks and came back in a couple minutes to get our order. Never offered water. While waiting for our lizzas we ran out of drinks. Another bartender showed up for the evening shift. After 20 min pizza was delivered to table. No plates to eat on and asked for refills. Finally got the plates and refills. We ate our pizza.......then waited and waited and waited. Waitress/bartender never came back and checked on us or got us refills. After 20 min. I went to bar(15 ft away from table) to ask for refills and order pizza to go. Only 1 more table to serve and still they could not provide any service. Bartender was talking to the couple people at bar but no one ever checked on us again. "To go" pizza finally arrived after 30 min. Paid check and left. Food is "ok" but the horrible lack of service is reason for lowest rating.

This place is very clean, the staff is very helpful. We got asked multiple times if everything was going okay.

Stopped in for breakfast. Elly was a great bartender, super sweet and attentive. Food was awesome. Nice patio with cold beer. We will be back soon.

Great pizza. Ingredients are quality . Meat and cheese! Great Burgers, big and juicy. Nice staff, clean bathrooms and pull tabs behind the bar.

Service was a little slow but the staff are definitely friendly! Got a pizza for lunch over the weekend. Also had the deep fried pickles. YOU NEED TO TRY THE FRIED PICKLES. The pickles and the oil that they were fried in is fresh, and the batter is light yet crunchy. Probably the best fried pickles I have had in a long time. And I love fried pickles.

Great burgers, fresh meat, generous portions! Oh ya cold beer too! If you're heading to Balsam Lake stop in!
